Sometimes when we open God’s word, we kind of turn our heads to the side and go “uh what did I just read?” Then, we have the urge to shut it and come back to it another time, another week, or sometimes another year.
God doesn’t want us to be confused with His word. He wants us to know Him and all His
mysteries. He is our true teacher and guide through this walk of life, and He is not hiding from us. How do I know this you say? Well, it’s right here in His holy and humble word.
Here’s a few scriptures to read over in as many versions as you can to understand them:
Psalms 32:8-10
Jeremiah 9:23-24
Ephesians 1:9
Daniel 2:19
Come to your God, your King, your Love, Your Father, your Friend and ask Him.
Ask Him to reveal His truth to you. Keep asking and don’t stop. He will answer and reveal them to you.
Matthew 7:7-8;
Let’s Pray:
God! Illuminate the prayers off the page for me.
Allow me to see your word in a way that I have never seen before. I trust you Lord that you bring your word to life, and I trust you that I will begin to understand your word. I trust you Jesus. I ask for faith to believe in you more and gain full assurance of your presence in my life.
