Series #4

1. Why follow Christ?

Because He is the way, truth, & life. No man comes unto the Father but by Him. John 14:6

2. What does it mean to you to fully follow Christ?

To me, it means to let go of anything & everything that hinders one's elevation, their spiritual walk, or their understanding of scripture with an accurate historical context.

3. What was your life like before and after Christ and would you go back? Why or Why not?

My life was ok. I didn't entertain a secular lifestyle and had a good upbringing so I wouldn't necessarily describe my life as hard or worldly. However, it was empty & somewhat sad. I didn't know my purpose or develop my gifts. I lost my joy after seeing the depth of corruption that's in the world. Now that my faith is maturing, I live with the purpose of developing my gifts, seeking & sharing truth in a practical way, and helping people to help break the bondage of unhealthy lifestyles. I can't go back to being the old me now that I know my purpose.

4. Why is it important to know your 'Why' and how does that help you?

I think it's challenging to live a fulfilled life without knowing and defining your purpose & gifts. Knowing my "why" has helped me to elevate and constantly seek growth. It has kept me on track from losing myself and falling for the traps, illusions, distractions, or attacks that we face on a daily basis.

5. Why do you feel it's important for others to know about your religion?

I simply seek to share truth that will bring people closer to a Christ-like lifestyle. There are many religions and denominations under Christianity with flaws, so I don't focus heavily on pushing "religion". I am Christian but my focus is to spread truth & love.
