Who is Jesus? He is the Word of God.
John 1:1 KJV 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
In my walk with Christ, I have learned that He speaks in many different ways. He speaks through the chorus of songs, the conversations in movies, and He can speak through the laughter of friends. He also speaks in the sounds of the rain hitting windows, in the sound of wind rustling through the trees, in the clouds floating along the breeze in the sky.
He especially speaks through the Bible, His divinely inspired word.
There is no language barrier with Him, which is why Jesus speaks through all of creation to reach those He loves. Colossians 1:16-17 KJV states: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
In my walk with Christ, He has spoken to me in many different ways. When He speaks, I often have to define words or research information. Sometimes I hear him so clearly and know exactly what He’s talking about, and at other times I don’t understand at all, and I have to pray, fast, and discover through the leading of Holy Spirit what is being told to me. However, this is no surprise.
Jesus wants us to share the words concerning us, with us, in the appropriate timeframe; and that requires that we walk with Him and read His words. Proverbs 25: 2 (AMP) states: 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter, and Daniel 2 (HCSB) states at the end of verse 29 and the beginning of verse 30: The revealer of mysteries has let you know what will happen. 30 As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me.
