A Gift

1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain;..."

God's grace is an incredible and awe-inspiring gift. The weight of His love pours out in such a way that it can and will bring you to your knees.

When I think about where I was in my past and who I used to be before Christ, I'm amazed. Even in those moments He was covering me. In those times, He bestowed upon me wisdom. And, although, I ignored Him most of the time, He gave me directions. I should not be the person I am today but I am, because of God's grace and because of who Jesus is.

We cannot earn His grace.

We do not deserve His grace.

But God is gracious, so He willingly shares it, and I thank Him for it.

He wraps His grace in time.

The present shows us its beauty,

But it's in remembering the past

That grace unwraps itself

And reveal it has been here all along.
