Amidst Persecution

"Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours." John 15:20

I am grateful to have an advocate like you, Lord.

I thank you for Jesus, for the Holy Spirit. To be able to say that Jesus went through the trials I'm going through gives me hope. As you said God, we will have tribulations in this world but you have overcome it all (John 16:33).

Lord, you sacrificed your only son and I can never repay you even if I tried.

So I will rejoice! I will rejoice in my sufferings because as you said, the sufferings produce endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and that hope will not put me to shame because your love has been poured into my heart through the Holy Spirit who you've given to me. (Romans 5: 3-5)

I thank you so much, God.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen
