The Vine and the Branches

Dear God,

I thank you for everything.

Lord, you said you were a gardener.

You cut off branches in my life that hold no fruit and you prune the ones that do.

Lord, I thank you for your hand in my life.

I know I am nothing without you. I lived that way before and felt like an empty shell. Never again.

God, I pray to have you in my life always and that you remove the dead branches from my life so that I feel less burdened by the weight of this world.

Lord, please trim away branches in my life that bear no fruit and guide me as I shed away the dead leaves as you make me new.

Lord, remove every hold on me that is blocking my view on how you made me fearfully and wonderfully.

Please Lord, remove the blinds from my eyes and renew me.

Lord, in John 14:7, you said ask whatever you need and it will be given to you.

You know my heart's desired,

You know my needs, wants, and the depths, and shallow parts of me.

Lord, YOU MADE ME!

You know me more than I know myself.

I pray for your strength as you remove and prune the branches in my life.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen
